  7. Germany. Their emblem was the Cross of
  8. Lorraine, a cross with two bars. They took
  9. the name Fighting France 1942 and served in
  10. many campaigns, among them Gen Leclerc's
  11. advance from Chad to Tripolitania 1942, the
  12. Syrian campaigns 1941, the campaigns in the
  13. Western Desert, the Italian campaign, the
  14. liberation of France, and the invasion of
  15. Germany.
